It's a shame what today's standards have done to figure labeling. To me, this is perfectly healthy-looking and beautiful, the ideal figure to have.
Hm. this is a very nice piece. The softness is further accented by the delicate shading, and then completely countered by the shakiness of the handwriting on her sign. Lovely.

I don't normally hand-letter things, my writing is practically illegible. But I felt the signs needed a more human touch, to play up on the sorrow implied.
